Anime

Set in an alternate post-war Japan, Jin-Roh follows Kazuki, a member of an elite counter-terrorism unit called the "Wolf Brigade." After witnessing the death of a young woman during a mission, Kazuki becomes conflicted about his role in a government deeply entrenched in corruption and violence. The film explores the human cost of state control and the blurred line between duty and personal morality. Although it has a dystopian atmosphere, its focus on an alternative reality of war moves it further away from the typical cyberpunk focus on technology and urban decay.
