Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (2022)
In a dystopian future where megacorporations rule, David Martinez, a street kid struggling to survive, gets caught in the brutal world of cybernetic mercenaries. After acquiring a powerful implant, he rises as an "edgerunner," pushing his body and mind beyond their limits. A collaboration between Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red, the anime delivers stunning visuals and a tragic yet thrilling story that expands the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The franchise expanded with Bubblegum Crash (1991), a direct continuation, and Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (1998), a reboot with a revised storyline and character arcs. There is also a lesser-known sequel, Parasite Dolls (2003), set in the same universe.
Cyber City Oedo 808 (1990-1991)
