Update #2: Plans for 2026

It’s been a while since the last update around here.
Over the past few months, as CyberHaven kept growing, I ended up focusing a lot more on improving the site itself, the Instagram, and adding new things behind the scenes. You know how it goes. When you really enjoy something, you try to do everything, and suddenly there’s not enough time for it all.
Also, quick reality check. In my last post I said I’d be doing two blog posts a day… yeah, that didn’t exactly happen. Turns out that pace is a bit unrealistic when you're handling everything solo. Lesson learned. I’d rather post less and keep things real than force something that doesn’t fit.
At the end of the day, CyberHaven started as a personal project that I just wanted to share with the world. It’s honestly amazing to see people visiting the site every day, especially from all over the world, even though everything here is in English.
This year, I want to focus on expanding the content across all categories. Novels, games, short films, and more. I’ve also updated the homepage to highlight digital artists and photographers who really capture that cyberpunk essence. Next step is to bring in independent musicians and producers into that space as well.
And if you’re a frequent visitor, you might have noticed that I removed all ads from the site. Monetization was never the point of this project. I’d rather keep things clean and avoid cluttering the experience. And let’s be honest, a cyberpunk site full of ads feels kinda ironic.
That said, if you’d like to help support the site’s costs, I do plan to bring that option back in the future (the Help CyberHaven button at the homepage is disabled at the moment). It will be something simple, just small donations with a monthly cap, nothing intrusive.
Alongside the focus on music artists and expanding the library, here are a few things I’m planning next:
Updating the cyberpunk history timeline
Keeping improving mobile navigation
Adding some kind of news feed to the homepage
And yes, adding even more stuff to the homepage (here we go again lol)
