Update #3: CyberHaven’s 1-Year Anniversary

It’s kind of crazy to think that an idea I had on paper is turning one year old this week.

Even though the site doesn’t have a forum or any kind of community space, I’ve received a lot of feedback through the contact box and Instagram, and it has helped me a lot with improving the site.

I should also mention that when I launched the site in 2025, I completely forgot to make sure it worked properly on mobile lol. A classic beginner mistake from someone who had never built a website before and was still figuring things out.

One of the coolest things for me is seeing where the visitors are coming from. Americans, Brazilians, Germans, Mexicans, people from Asia and many other countries around the world. It’s honestly pretty awesome and it’s a big part of what keeps me motivated to improve the browsing experience and keep adding more content.

Over the last few months, Ive been working on the layout of several sections. TV Shows, Comics, Manga and Anime all got design and layout updates. Speaking of Anime, even though the page has become pretty long to scroll through, I decided to keep everything in one place. I know mobile users probably won’t love that decision, but for now, I think its the best solution. The Movies section will probably end up getting the same treatment.

Another big focus has been the Games section. Ive been improving the layout and adding quite a few new games. A few months ago, I received a message from a visitor suggesting some improvements and thanking me because they use the site to keep up with new releases, especially the Upcoming Games section. You can imagine how happy that made me.

Ive also been trying to give more visibility to the Instagram pages of small studios making indie games. There are a lot of interesting projects out there that dont get much attention, so I like being able to give them a little more space on CyberHaven.

For anyone who wants to learn more about the genre, I also added the Authors section to the homepage. Speaking of books, the Novels section is probably going to get the same treatment as Anime. I’m planning to put everything on a single page, but in a list format. Otherwise, you’d be scrolling until the end of time.

I hope my silent visitors are enjoying the content. There may not be much communication, but I still check the daily numbers like I always have.
