The beggining:
Well, first of all, welcome to the first of many posts I intend to write in my new little cyber haven. To start things off, I thought I’d give a brief introduction about why I decided to build this website and offer a quick overview of what you’ll find here.
CyberHaven started as a small project around February of this year. I was trying to find something to keep me busy since I had to leave my previous work due to health issues and I spent a lot of days doing nothing at home. A friend of mine had suggested something manual but as a lifelong nerd raised on video games, working with my hands never really clicked.
One day I just stopped and asked myself: “What’s something I’ve always loved?” Sure, I could say movies or books, but the word that kept popping into my head was cyberpunk. From watching The Matrix and Ghost in the Shell as a kid, to seeing the genre explode in recent years, it’s always been part of me. So I thought, why not build my own little cyberpunk spot online? A few cups of coffee (okay, maybe more than a few), some trial and error, and here we are.
The Website: Altough I was already familiar with cyberpunk through anime, movies and some books, I had to do a lot of research (and still do) because I had no idea how big that world really is, which I find really exciting.
While digging around online, I came across forum threads and blog posts discussing movies I never even knew were considered cyberpunk. A lot of them aren’t fully focused on the genre, but they still carry strong cyberpunk elements. That’s when I decided: I want this website to be as complete as possible. So in every section like movies, anime, games, comics, you might find works that aren't 100% cyberpunk, but still have enough of its spirit to deserve a place here.
Also, as I mentioned before, I’m still learning a lot about cyberpunk. As you can see, the music section isn’t available yet because I’m still working on it. There are a lot of amazing albums I’ve been discovering (thanks, Reddit), and I want to dive deeper before putting that part together.
I'm still working on the Wallpapers menu, and a 3D gallery will be available in the future (once I finish my Blender course).
In the Cyber Links menu, you’ll find some awesome websites with cyberpunk content that I highly recommend checking out.
In the Neural Sync section, you can follow all the website updates. I’ll probably be posting there daily, since I’m constantly tweaking things to improve the site's navigation and usability.
As for the blog, I’ll try to post at least twice a week. As you’ve probably noticed, I’ll be keeping things more informal here, while the rest of the website sticks to the cyberpunk aesthetic.
If you have any questions, feedback, compliments, or even complaints (just don’t be rude), feel free to use the message box in the About section. I’d love to hear from you.
Signed, Mr.Richards.

Website looks cool! Congratz!
