A new teaser suggests that new content might be coming to Cyberpunk 2077 on September 4. The game, which had a troubled launch, has been praised for its redemption, largely due to the success of its "Phantom Liberty" expansion, which was considered one of the best games of 2023. Although CD Projekt Red had previously stated that development for new content was over, this enigmatic new teaser has sparked hope among players.

The teaser, which was posted on the official Cyberpunk social media, appears to be a letter from N.U.S.A. President Rosalind Myers, dated September 4, 2025, calling for "Brave Netrunners" to help fight a new threat. Players noted that within the game's lore, Myers didn't become president until 2065, leading them to believe that the date on the letter is actually the reveal date for the new content. This has fueled speculation about a possible second expansion for the game.
Other players believe the teaser could be related to a second season of the anime series, Edgerunners.
